GPVWC All-Stars take on the world in The Race All-Star Series

A GPVWC All-Stars team will take on the world’s best simracers in The Race All-Star Series – Powered by ROKiT Phones. Two cars bearing the colours and logos of GPVWC SimRacing will compete in the incredibly competitive series, starting this Saturday at the Estoril track.

The GPVWC All-Stars team will feature a trio of drivers of the utmost quality – Superleague championship leader Adam Maguire, reigning World Champion Jannick Bock and Superleague Lights leader Liam de Waal. Management of the team will be provided, on a day-to-day basis, by Edonis Engineering founder, Menno Klont. The classic teal-and-black livery is the work of Doug Hilliard and Zedderick Designs.

Competing in the Sim Masters class – alongside the Pro drivers and the racing Legends – will provide the team with tough competition – including iconic names of simracing such as Bono Huis and Rudy van Buren and teams of the calibre of Mercedes AMG Petronas and Team Redline.

The grid itself has a strong taste of GPVWC, with roughly 80% of competitors having participated in the Superleague or other GPVWC series at some stage in their careers.

Will Ponissi, Managing Director of GPVWC SimRacing: “Competing in The Race All-Star Series – Powered by ROKiT Phones is testament to the ambition of our organisation, and especially of the incredible quality of the drivers competing in the Superleague and the other series. We are conscious we will be facing the strongest single-seater simracers in the world: we are confident Adam, Jannick and Liam can compete on this stage and bring home some strong results.”

The Race All-Star Series is broadcast live on ESPN and Eurosport and highlights are shown in 60 countries. Round two takes place on May 9th, from 5pm BST, and can be watched live on The Race’s YouTube channel.
