ARK: Survival Evolved Two New Aquatic Dinosaurs – Plesiosaurus and Ichthysaurus - PC Mac Linux

Start Exploring the Ocean Depths With Two New Aquatic Dinosaurs – Plesiosaurus and Ichthysaurus.

Today two new oceanic dinosaurs have also been released on ARK – Plesiosaurus and Ichthysaurus join the 70-plus dinosaurs available at launch.
Much like the Brontosaurus on land, Plesiosaurus is an excellent beast used to transport large quantities of goods across water. These powerful creatures are so large that they can be used as mobile water bases. Ambitious tribes can build bunkers right onto the backs of Plesiosaurus instead of building cargo ships. Ichthy is a speedy ocean-mount for rapidly exploring the seas and waterways around the island. It is a comparatively fast, agile swimmer with a friendly curiosity much like a modern-day dolphin.

ARK is the most popular open-world Early Access game on Steam, bringing a new level of depth to the survival genre with a unique blend of emergent multiplayer cooperation and competition. Players awake naked and starving on the beach of a mysterious island among a herd of other confused humans and must explore the vast island of ARK to survive. What is the secret to survival? Each person must contribute to the effort as they collect resources, craft tools, hunt for food, defend against aggressive dinosaurs, research technology, and build simple shelters or complex fortresses to protect against lurking human predators, scorching days, freezing nights, and volatile weather systems.

Developed by Studio Wildcard, in conjunction with Instinct Games, ARK: Survival Evolved will launch in June 2016 on PlayStation®4 with Project Morpheus support, Xbox One via the ID@Xbox program, and Steam, including Oculus Rift VR support and a thorough integration of Steam community features such as Steam Economy and Steam Workshop for custom maps and mods. Players also are able to host private/LAN servers, and now have access to a custom-built version of the Unreal Engine 4 Editor for creating mods. The world of ARK is designed to be modder-friendly and ever-expanding!
