Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition and Season 3 DLC Character Sakura joins the team - PC PS4

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, an updated version of the latest game in the hit fighting series exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC is available physically and digitally in North America today and Europe from January 19th. SFV: Arcade Edition provides the core content from the initial Street Fighter V release and access to the downloadable content updates such as the previously released Cinematic Story Mode and Versus CPU Mode. SFV: Arcade Edition purchasers also get the Season 1 and 2 DLC characters and a host of new features, all for $39.99.


SFV: Arcade Edition includes a wide variety of new modes and balance updates listed below, which will also be available for owners of the original Street Fighter V via a free update today. Current players of Street Fighter V and new owners of SFV: Arcade Edition will be placed into the same player pool, with PS4 and PC cross-platform play continuing to unite fans into a unified player base.

Capcom announce Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, an updated version of the latest game in the hit fighting series that will release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC on January 16, 2018. This new version will include everything from the original release of Street Fighter V, along with the addition of brand new gameplay-related content including Arcade Mode, Extra Battle Mode, new V-Trigger moves, Gallery, a completely redesigned User Interface and more.

'Devil's PlayGround' Vampire Savior Tournament Results


On 16th June, Club Sega Shinjuku Nishiguchi held a Vampire Savior singles tournament named 'Devil's PlayGround'. With qualifiers leading up the main event across Japan's Kanto region, the competition was as strong as can be expected. Around 30 players turned out for the event, which was streamed live via UStream. More information about the tournament, including results, can be found after the break.

As speculated, Oni and Evil Ryu have been revealed for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition and are fully playable characters! Originally assumed to simply be bosses for players of the arcade version, these two new characters have their own unique move-sets and Ultras.

The long-awaited Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition was recently released in a variety of arcades around the world, containing balance changes from past iterations and new characters along with all of Super's original cast.

Fans of Street Fighter III will remember Chinese twins Yun and Yang for their unique style of combat, usually involving a solid pressure game and devastating combos thanks to supers Genei-jin and Seiei Enbu. Thankfully, Capcom have answered the prayers of many by making these the super for each character in SSFIVAE as well as having both other Super Arts as Ultra I and II respectively.

Blitz Arcade, the downloadable games division of Blitz Games Studios, is now a Guinness World Record holder for the first video game to use stereoscopic polarised 3D. Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao, published by Namco Bandai for XBLA and PSN in August 2009 was developed by Blitz Arcade using Blitz’s proprietary technology, BlitzTech. Research into 3D integration started back in 2006, with Blitz CTO Andrew Oliver an early proponent of the S3D movement.

'Eight Virtues' video game developer to seek public funding

Eight Virtues (http://www.eightvirtues.com) is seeking public funds for the development of Sanctimonia, a multiplayer online game focusing on the building blocks of societies, the beauty and perils of the natural world and arcade style real-time combat. Sanctimonia hopes to reconcile the opposing gameplay mechanics of total freedom and gameplay restrictions to alleviate “griefing” by enabling real-world societal behavior such as the cooperative implementation and enforcement of laws. This will facilitate the creation of simple governments, including constitutions, bills of rights, police, trade law and inter-village diplomacy.
