Pokémon Masters major update

Announcing a number of content updates to celebrate six months since the release of Pokémon Masters, a real-time battling and strategy game on compatible iOS and Android devices.

Professor Oak Can Battle as a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters

All players that log in during in-game event will receive Professor Oak and his partner Pokémon Mew on their teams.

for the first time ever in Pokémon games, Professor Oak will join the battle as a Pokémon Trainer. Accompanied by his partner, the mythical Pokémon Mew, these characters will be distributed to all players that have logged into the game and completed the tutorial before March 16 at 6:59AM GMT. Pokémon Masters, a real-time battling and strategy game, can be downloaded on compatible iOS and Android devices.

A new trailer announcing this update and highlighting Professor Oak’s appearances throughout the Pokémon video game series, including his debut with Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, can be found here on the official Pokémon YouTube channel here.

After receiving Professor Oak & Mew, players that have completed Chapter 2 of the Main Story can upgrade this sync pair by completing “Professor Oak & Mew Special Missions.”


These missions are available now through March 16 at 6:59AM GMT. Players can also experience Professor Oak’s “Sync Pair Story” and learn more about how he met Mew and formed a sync pair with this mythical Pokémon. Other Trainers and Pokémon like Red, Blue, Agatha, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle also make appearances in this “Sync Pair Story.”

Pokémon Home this month New Pokémon Cloud Service App Can Manage Collection of Pokémon across Multiple Games

The Pokémon Company and Nintendo announced more details for the new cloud service app Pokémon HOME. The app enables Trainers to continue their Pokémon adventures beyond a single game system and manage their collection of Pokémon across many of their games. Pokémon HOME will launch in February 2020 for iOS and Android devices as well as Nintendo Switch.



Designed as a place where all Pokémon can gather, Pokémon HOME will enable Trainers to bring over Pokémon from linked Pokémon series games and deposit them in Pokémon Boxes in the cloud or move them around to linked compatible games.

Pokémon Masters Adds New Pokémon Solgaleo, Dragonite, and Garchomp, Along with Trainers Cynthia and Lance

Content update brings new partner Pokémon and playable sync pairs to the game.


Players can now pair the game’s Main Character with Solgaleo, the Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Alola region. The introduction of Solgaleo marks the second Legendary Pokémon to arrive in Pokémon Masters, which also saw Mewtwo added to the game for a limited time in December. This update provides the player with even more customisation and choice, as the Main Character can now be paired with Solgaleo, Torchic, or Pikachu as their partner Pokémon. To commemorate this character introduction, an in-game event titled “The Beast That Devours The Sun” is now available until January 21 at 9:59PM Pacific Time, and allows players to earn special items required to “Unlock Level Cap” and learn “Moves & Skills” for Solgaleo.

Pokémon TCG Card Dex FREE Mobile App Released Worldwide... iOS Android

The Pokémon Company International has released the Pokémon TCG Card Dex mobile app worldwide on compatible iOS and Android devices. This app, available at no cost, offers an easy way to browse and discover all expansions and promo cards from the Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon Series, including the recently released Sun & Moon—Team Up.










Pokémon TCG Card Dex allows fans to easily keep track of their Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon Series collection by scanning cards using their mobile device’s camera and storing them locally for convenient offline viewing. It also provides a comprehensive database of all Sun & Moon Series expansions, with the ability to filter by expansion, card type and rarity, Pokémon type, Energy type, HP, and other options, so fans can easily search for and discover cards. Players can now begin adding the Sun & Moon—Team Up expansion to their collection in Pokémon TCG Card Dex.

Pokémon TCG Card Dex is available to download at no cost from the App Store and Google Play.

How to add Legendary Pokémon Zekrom and Reshiram to your collection


The Legendary Pokémon Zekrom and Reshiram appeared first in the Unova region, and now you can add them to your Alolan adventure in October. During 5–21 October 2018, you can get Zekrom for your Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun game, or Reshiram for your Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon game.



How to get Zekrom or Reshiram:
  1. Open your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
  2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
  3. Select Receive Gift.
  4. Select Get via Internet, then Yes to connect to the internet.
  5. Watch as the Legendary Pokémon arrives in your game!
  6. Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Legendary Pokémon.
  7. Be sure to save your game.

Pokémon announce new details about exclusive Pokémon moves, Secret Techniques, and much more in the highly anticipated Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! games, releasing on November 16 on the Nintendo Switch system. Both games are designed for players taking their first steps into the Pokémon video game world as well as for longtime fans wanting a new way to play Pokémon.


Clear the Way: Secret Techniques
Pikachu or Eevee can help players overcome obstacles they encounter and make travel easier in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! by learning Secret Techniques. These special skills can be used by the player’s partner Pokémon outside of battle to clear away trees (Chop Down), glide across water (Sea Skim), and quickly revisit towns and cities that have already been explored (Sky Dash).

Powerful Partner - Exclusive Moves
The player’s partner Pikachu or Eevee can use exclusive moves that no other Pokémon can use. These exclusive moves will help players face any challenge during their adventures in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! And once the player’s relationship with their partner reaches a certain level, the partner Pokémon will occasionally send a sign during battle that its partner power (one of its exclusive moves) can be used. Even if the partner Pokémon is not in the battle, it may still send a sign. If the player responds, the partner will bolster the Pokémon in battle by boosting its stats.

New animated Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us first trailer released...

The Pokémon Company International announced that it is once again partnering with Fathom Events to bring a new animated film, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, to select cinemas in multiple territories as a limited theatrical release. The agreement with Fathom Events, the recognized leader in event cinema distribution, follows a successful cinema event collaboration last year that showcased Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! and garnered strong attendance worldwide.


Based on the globally popular Pokémon brand, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us follows Ash and Pikachu as they join forces with a diverse new cast of characters to rescue a seaside town from a series of threatening incidents. Pokémon game sales pass 300 million

More than 300 million Pokémon video games have been sold worldwide. This milestone includes 76 video games launched since 1996, beginning with the release of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green for the Nintendo Game Boy system.


The Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon games, which are the newest titles in the core video game series, launched on November 17 exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS family, helping the franchise reach this remarkable milestone.

Pokémon GO Equinox Event Begins September 22

To usher in autumn nights in the Northern Hemisphere and spring days in the Southern Hemisphere, Niantic today announced the Pokémon GO September equinox in-game event.


The Equinox event will run from 9:00 P.M. BST on Friday, September 22 to 9:00 P.M. BST on Monday, October 2, 2017. During the event players can earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon and hatching Eggs, collect special 2 km Eggs at PokéStops and Gyms, and gather special boxes from the in-game shop including the all-new Super Incubators, which hatch Eggs 1.5 times faster. Additionally, registering a new Pokémon to your Pokédex will earn you triple the normal XP during the event time frame.

Dusk Form Lycanroc features characteristics of both Lycanroc Midday Form and Lycanroc Midnight Form. It stands on all fours and has behavioral traits similar to Midday Form, but when it attacks, its eyes glow red, much like Midnight Form. Dusk Form Lycanroc has a tranquil demeanor and always remains calm. This Pokémon is obedient towards a Trainer that it trusts. It has an intense fighting spirit, and as a result, prefers to do combat at close quarters.
