Hip-Hop JRPG Orangeblood PC release

Loot procedurally-generated weapons and sneakers acting as armour to prepare a tenacious yet cute band of girls for the fight against dangerous mobsters and robots on the hand-drawn pixel streets of the man-made island of New Koza.

Tactically reload weapons while listening to hip-hop beats to avoid getting caught with defences lowered and complete a secret mission offering a way out of the vicious gang war overtaking the isle.
The procedurally-generated weapons of Orangeblood are as dangerous as the setting - the man-made island of New Koza. It’s up to Vanilla, a prisoner released to execute a top-secret mission, to build a cute yet tenacious crew to free herself from the warring gangs ruling the underworld in an alternate version of 90s Japan overflowing with mobsters, robots, and many more threats.

Foes and chests drop powerful guns as well as protective kicks with randomised stats to mix and match for maximum damage. Time your ammo reloads strategically to avoid getting caught off-guard with lowered defenses. The hand-drawn pixel streets of New Koza ooze danger, but vending machines scattered throughout the city will provide solace in Vanilla’s time of need.

“I’ve worked for years to create a funky fresh RPG setting melding classic hip-hop vibes with Japanese cultural traits like vending machines on every street corner,” said Grayfax, sole developer of Orangeblood. “I’m looking forward to seeing how people react to New Koza and the twists and turns of Vanilla’s story while enjoying the extra spice added by procedurally generated gear.”

Orangeblood will be available on Steam in Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese for $19.99.
