Black Desert Online SEA took home the Best MMORPG of the Year Award at the Thailand Game Show 2018 on October 27, 2018. The Thailand Game Awards is held every year to recognize outstanding game companies for quality content and service.
The recognition comes just 10 months after the launch of Black Desert Online SEA in Southeast Asia and Thailand, in large part due to its advanced customization system, expansive open world, action combat and some of the best game graphics available.
Pearl Abyss Head of Business Youngchul Ham had this to say, “On behalf of the Pearl Abyss team, I would like to thank the SEA Adventurers. We’ve come to learn and appreciate so much about Southeast Asia during our 10 months of service in the region. We look forward to continually adding more exciting game contents and growing with our Adventurers.”
Black Desert Online SEA is also celebrating more than 10 million registered players worldwide. To celebrate, the game will host weekly quests from October 31 to November 28, giving Adventurers the chance to score items such as Cliff main weapons, Awakening weapons and sub-weapons. Upon completing the quests, Adventurers will be able to obtain +15 weapons with higher chances of enhancement than ordinary weapons.
In addition, the game is also giving away rewards to Adventures just for logging in from November 1 to 14. The items up for grabs include cash items such as Artisan's Memory as well as other items including the Sealed Book of Combat, Advice of Valks and Shakatu's Luxury Box containing a host of exclusive goods.
