Brawlhalla the most played fighting game on Steam Official Launch Trailer - PC

Brawlhalla has been played by more than 5 million people while in early access on PC, making it by far the most played fighting game on Steam in 2016 and 2017.

A new map, The Colosseum, will debut in the closed beta along with an update to Brawlhalla's Brawlball mode.

PC gamers will receive a free update adding the new map and updated game mode simultaneously alongside the closed beta launch. Additionally, a new character, the Kitsune, will come to early access next week.

More than 5.3 million PC gamers have battled in the Grand Tournament of Valhalla on Steam Early Access, making Brawlhalla by far the most played fighting game on Steam in 2016 and 2017.

The closed beta will bring an update to the existing Brawlball game mode. Warriors will also have new ground to stomp foes into with the release of a new map, The Colosseum. All of this content will release simultaneously on PC.

In addition, Brawlhalla's next legendary warrior, the Kitsune, arrives next week on PC. A wise and powerful fox spirit who wields a hammer and bow, the Kitsune's signature attacks lay out magical snares, introducing a new trap mechanic for area control.

Brawlhalla's straightforward controls make the game easy for new players to pick up, while still having the depth to support a thriving competitive community. With more than 30 distinct warriors to choose from, each with two playstyle-altering weapon types, every victory is a spectacle worthy of the gods.

Built from the ground up for competitive play, Brawlhalla supports a large number of online and offline game modes including ranked queues, local 1v1 and 2v2, a four-player online free-for-all queue, local or online free-for-all for up to eight players, and several alternate game modes such as Brawlball, Snowbrawl and Bombsketball.
