Win a trip to EVO for Street Fighter V tournament


Street Fighter V players will have the opportunity to win a trip to EVO 2017 next month in Savage Series, a four-week tournament hosted by Stream.Me in partnership with fighting game community legend Alex Valle and Level Up Productions.



Savage Series will mark the first appearance of Akuma in competitive Street Fighter V play and will feature commentary by David "UltraDavid" Graham and James "jchensor" Chen. Alex Valle, known throughout the world as someone of importance in the fighting game community and Street Fighter V scene will be producing and running this event on behalf of Stream.Me.


The online tournament is free to enter and open to all players in the United States, Canada and Mexico across both PC and PlayStation 4. Interested fighters can find more information about the event and register to participate here.

The action will kick off Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 with qualifiers at 6:00pm PST. Pools will take place each Monday and will be followed with Top 8 Finals on Tuesdays starting at 7:00pm PST.

The Top 8 Finalists each week will be awarded points, with the eventual champion winning free travel and lodging to EVO 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additionally, runner-up contestants, a circuit participant and even some lucky viewers at home will be awarded Limited Edition Street Fighter skateboard decks from NSURGO.

  • Top 8 Finals - Tuesday, Jan. 10 - 7:00pm PST
  • Qualifiers - Monday, Jan. 16 - 6:00pm PST
  • Top 8 Finals - Tuesday, Jan. 17 - 7:00pm PST
  • Qualifiers - Monday, Jan. 23 - 6:00pm PST
  • Top 8 Finals - Tuesday, Jan. 24 - 7:00pm PST
  • Qualifiers - Monday, Jan. 30 - 6:00pm PST

Tournament Format:
Double Elimination
99 Second Time Limit
Best 2 out of 3 rounds per game
Best 2 out of 3 games for pools
Best 3 out of 5 games for top 8 finals
Winner must keep the same character
Loser can switch characters
Banned Stages: Kanzuki Beach and Skies of Honor
All DLC characters allowed
