Halo Championship Series Pro League details


THE HALO CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES: PRO LEAGUE FALL 2016 SEASON



The top European and North American teams will begin their journey to the Fall 2016 Season Finals on September 14.

A few weeks ago, we saw the top Halo teams in the world battle in the Halo Championship Series: Pro League Summer Season Finals where European frontrunners Fab Esports and defending world champions Counter Logic Gaming came out on top. 343 Industries and ESL are happy to announce more details about the upcoming Fall Season, which will once again follow the top teams across Europe and North America, culminating in the Fall 2016 Season Finals to be held later in the year.


The initial rosters will be locked in on Sunday, August 21 for EU and Friday, August 26 for NA. The official rule set for both regions, including new maps and gametypes, will be published on Tuesday, September 6. Just like Summer Season, the top teams will be battling for a share of the US$100,000 European prize pool and $225,000 North American purse, along with the Fall 2016 Season regional championship titles.

EUROPE

The European HCS Pro League Fall Season will begin at 19:30 BST on Wednesday, September 14, with broadcasts every Wednesday and non-broadcasted matches every Thursday. Keep in mind that there will be a break for the first week of October. Your Summer Season broadcast team will be returning for the fall, with Richard Simms, Dan Gaskin, and Harry Channon casting and analyzing all the action.

● August 24 EU rosters announced
● September 10 EU Open Circuit starts
● September 14 EU Fall Season starts
● October 15 EU Open Circuit Finals
● December 3 Relegation
● December 4 Finals at the ESL Studio One in Leicester, UK

More details about attending the live European Fall Season Finals will be announced mid-September.


NORTH AMERICA

The North American side of things will feature weekly broadcasts every Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 4:30PM PDT starting on September 14 with a break for the first two weeks of October. Kyle Elam and Tom Taylor will be returning as your North American HCS Pro League casters and hosts.

● October 7-9 Esports Arena LAN
● November 18-20 Open Circuit Finals hosted by PGL
● December 10 Relegation
● December 11 Finals at the ESL Studios in Burbank, California
