Blizzard unveil plans for several official global launch events celebrating the upcoming release of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. Beginning on the evening of September 24, key retail partners in the US, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and the region of Taiwan will welcome gamers who will be among the first to purchase and play the highly anticipated fourth expansion for the world's most popular subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game.

World of Warcraft charity server blade images
World of Warcraft fans have one final chance to take part in this auction, and get a piece of Blizzard Entertainment history. Recent changes to the hardware running the various World of Warcraft realms in Europe have made a unique opportunity available to players. The old hardware has been carefully decommissioned and lovingly preserved in presentation cases (see attached pictures), and the final batch of retired EU server blades are now available for bidding on eBay; this is the very final step in the charity auction that began in October. Net proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Blizzard today launched a new service that allows World of Warcraft players to change the race of their characters.The racial swap will cost players $25, and can only be performed on an inter-faction basis. In other words, you can't resurrect your undead dude into a human.
