Square Enix sales for Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2, Kane & Lynch and Just Cause 2
Square Enix biggest selling game over the last six months was Japanese only Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 selling 1.28 million games. Their other flagship titles, Kane & Lynch sold 1.12million and Just Cause 2 sold just under one and a half million copies.

Problems with Final Fantasy XIV beta? You're not alone as users report server erros and password issues
The Final Fantasy XIV was started then suspended when users experienced all kinds of problems with the beta release. This may be due to the popularity of the beta itself, Square say their 'Account actvation' system was over loaded - doh! they supplied the beta keys, didn't they expect people to use them?

Square Enix ID and Square Enix Members account changes lock out non US accounts
Square Enix are shifting to new internal systems and services that require all of their customers to properly identify their current residence in order to access new products and services. One consequence of this is that Members residing outside of the United States and Canada will not be able to access their existing North America SQUARE ENIX MEMBERS accounts, including MEMBERS Points, after August 31, 2010 2:00am PDT. New accounts may be available in your proper territory.

More speakers confirmed for Edinburgh Interactive 2010

Edinburgh Interactive 2010 today announced further speakers for this year’s conference and public game screening sessions. Square-Enix announce partnership with Obsidian Entertainment to work on Dungeon Seige 3
Square Enix announce that it is partnering with Obsidian Entertainment on Dungeon Siege 3. With input from the original developer, Gas Powered Games, Obsidian Entertainment will develop the next incarnation of the Dungeon Siege franchise with Square Enix as the game’s publisher.
