Welcome to your nightmare! The first gameplay video featuring the newly-announced fourth DLC character for Mortal Kombat -- Freddy Krueger. With some slight modifications to even up the odds in arena he now boasts two knife-accessorized hands, so now Freddy's every hit is that much more dangerous and his fatalities even more lethal. Check out this video as he shows off just a few of the moves that could bring each opponent that much closer to their eternal rest. Don't fall asleep!

Mortal Kombat Kenshi HD gameplay video game trailer - PS3 X360
A new video from Warner Bros, giving players a sneak peek at some of the telekinectic moves the second Mortal Kombat DLC warrior, Kenshi, will wield. The downloadable blind warrior will be available on Tuesday 5th July for Xbox LIVE and Wednesday 6th July on PSN and will join the first downloadable warrior, Skarlet who is currently available for download.

Mortal Kombat’s newest warrior enters the arena today and she is out for blood. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios announce that Skarlet is now available for download on PlayStation Network and Microsoft Xbox Live.

Mortal Kombat DLC items now available to download from Xbox Live
Starting today, fans of the recently released Mortal Kombat will be able to download all new Microsoft items to deck out their Avatars including costumes, hats and t-shirts, which can also be worn during online tournament mode, King of the Hill. The items will be available to download for 80 to 240 Microsoft points.

Video game true or myth - exposed SNES Mortal Kombat Blood Code
When Nintendo replaced the blood in their SNES Mortal Kombat version with green goo the internet started buzzing with news of a code that restored the bloody mess of the arcade game. After all in the Mega Drive version all you had to do was press A - B - A - C - A - B - B and the blood was back in their version of Mortal Kombat. So was there a code?

Mortal Kombat is going back to it’s root but Ed Boon and friends will be adding something revolutionary to Mortal Kombat 9. Mortal Kombat 9 is currently in development by WB Games Chicago, under Warner Bros.Recently posted up on the Time Warner.com’s job page, is a position to join the team working on Mortal Kombat 9. The listing details that the title will bring “brand-new features that will revolutionize online play.”
WB Games Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Network to help us implement cutting-edge online features to ensure the Mortal Kombat franchise is an industry leader in online functionality. We are looking to position Mortal Kombat as the “gold standard” for network play, and we are looking for someone who wants to push the boundaries of what is possible with online interaction.

Midway sell Mortal Kombat and give bosses almost $4 million bonuses

Midway are to sell the Mortal Kombat franchise and still set aside $3,755,000 for bonuses for top executives.

Play as Villains in DC Universe Online

Fans at New York Comic-Con Will Get the First Chance to Play as Villains in DC Universe Online on Show Floor
The third comic book legend to join Jim Lee and Geoff Johns to ensure accurate DC Comics history and story continuity in DC Universe Online will be unveiled by Sony Online Entertainment during the New York Comic-Con panel, “Bringing the DC Universe to Life Online” on Saturday, February 7 from 4:15 – 5:15pm in Room 1A24. This mystery guest will join Jim Lee, Geoff Johns and SOE developers Jens Andersen, Wes Yenagi and Jared Carr as they discuss their experiences bringing the DC universe from comic book pages to an online virtual world.
Sony Online Entertainment will also give fans a fresh look at DC Universe Online at SOE’s Booth #1551. In this new demo, fans will be the first to experience instanced combat as dastardly super-villains.
Immediately following the panel on Saturday, SOE will host a fan event, where they will get a chance to play the game and speak to the developers, Jim Lee and Geoff Johns.
DC Universe Online is an upcoming multiplayer online game in development for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and PC that allows players to become heroes or villains and interact with others in real-time. Set in a three-dimensional DC Comics world, DCUO features iconic locations such as Gotham City and Metropolis and classic characters such as Superman, Batman and the Joker. In this dramatic online world, players battle alongside their favorite DC Comics heroes and villains to aid in solving or committing crimes. The game includes action-based combat and a robust physics system that encourages players to manipulate objects in the environment and hurl them at enemies.

Midway Games, a leading interactive entertainment publisher and developer, today announced that the company has shipped approximately 1.8 million units of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe worldwide for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system.Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was the result of countless hours of hard work by many people, and seeing the game surpass the million-seller plateau makes it worth all the effort," said Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat co-founder and creative director, Midway. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe also continues to set a number of internal Midway records. Today, Midway announced that the next episode of MKast, the official Mortal Kombat podcast, is now live at www.worldscollide.com (age restriction) along with an all new Developer's Blog.
This week's MKast has Art Director, Steve Beran and Dave Pindara, Technical Art and Environment Lead, joining Hans and Hector in the sound booth to discuss their involvement within the Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe project. In the latest Developer's Blog, Hector focuses on the new Kombo Challenge Mode and its significance to Trophies and Achievements found in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
