Grab some Free Mac and PC Music games for the weekend

free game mario paint composerLooking for some FREE music games to play on your Mac or PC?

Check out these three free games - Mario Paint Composer, Balldroppings, The Crowd and Mono World...

Mario Paint Composer on Mac and PC (8mb) FREE
Mario Paint Composer is a remake of the music system from the original Mario Paint for the Super NES. It is made by unFun Games. The game is, of course, completely free, but we ask that you check out our website if you like it. You'll find other fun online games to play there for PC and Mac!

Mario Paint Composer is 100% virus/spyware free. It will not harm your computer in any way.

Balldroppings on Mac and PC (500kb / 1mb) FREE
BallDroppings is an addicting and noisy play-toy. It can also be seen as an emergence game. Alternatively this software can be taken seriously as an audio-visual performance instrument. Balls fall from the top of the screen and bounce off the lines you are drawing with the mouse. The balls make a percussive and melodic sound, whose pitch depends on how fast the ball is moving when it hits the line. This delightful application allows experimentation with sound and vision which will compound and intrigue you. Whether you are an adult or child, scientific brainbox or avid gamer. It doesn't have a plot, no heroine, no villain. It has no guns or alien beings. It is simply time to get creative, and those who are creative will love this.

The Crowd on PC (7.5mb) FREE
An unusual product that has to be played with to get the full experience...
The site is being updated so you may have to keep trying.

Monoworld on PC (100kb) FREE
Hope you can speak Japanese as the site.
If not look for the link at the bottom of the site (disk drive and arrow)

New PlayStation may come with free games and free Blu-ray HD movie

free playstation 3 games bundle

Sony has the burden of being the highest-priced console on retail shelves at the moment.

New PS3s may come complete with Free Games, Free PlayStation 3 games may be on the hard disk or the free games may be downloaded from PlayStation network we'll have to wait and see.

Both Microsoft and Nintendo are coming in under $300, while the PS3 is $400 for a new system.

People are buying games and systems, but it's clear that price is important: Sony has to find a way to increase perceived value while not taking a bath on selling the systems at a loss. Which means bundles!

Kotaku has a picture of what appears to be a new PlayStation 3 bundle, and it's pretty nice. For $399.99 you get:

* An 80GB PS3 system
* Free game Ratchet and Clank - Tools of Destruction
* Free Casino Royale on Blu-ray High Definition DVD

This bundle is supposed to go on sale on November 28, and it's unclear whether other retailers will get these bundles or if this is a Best Buy exclusive. If you've been waiting for an excuse to finally pick up a PS3, this isn't a bad one: the game is fun, the movie is a good showpiece for Blu-ray, and they're both effectively free.

While a price drop would still be more preferable, we'll take what we can get.
