The outstanding size and scope of the PGA proves the importance of Polish video game industry, and its dynamic growth indicates the dynamics and growth of game development business in Poland.

Additionally, PGA makes it possible to watch closely the important branch of the Polish economy that is game development. As a cross-sectional event, it gathers game producers from Poland and from abroad. In addition, it also attracts computer hardware producers, Polish and foreign publishers, and journalists as well as numerous consumers. The importance of the event is reflected in the growing number of attendees; last year, it hosted 73.000 visitors, 220 exhibitors and 1.100 journalists and influencers on an exhibition area of 45,000 square meters.

The PGA's consumer-focused character is complemented by the Game Industry Conference (11-14 X) - an annual industry event dedicated strictly to game developers. Over the years, GIC has achieved the status of one of the largest game dev industry conferences in Europe - last year it attracted 3,200 attendees and over 560 companies from 35 countries, with over 120 lectures, workshops, and panels.

Game Industry Conference is a significant business event, providing its participants, among others, a special business-to-business exhibition area, the "Geek Careers" recruitment section, or a MeettoMatch system and zone. There will also be events linking young creators with investors or games with publishers, including those organized by international partners like Big India Pitch and the Nordic Game Discovery Contest.
