The book chronicles McNally's attempt to complete the game without picking up weapons or items, pitting himself against a self-imposed "super apocalypse". He uses this bizarrely difficult playthrough to discuss the mechanics and storytelling of The Last Of Us, as well as its place as one of the greatest video games of all time.
