CES 2017 Blubur S1 VR Headset and Controller full spec

Blubur S1 - The Blubur S1 features more than 2K resolution (2880 x1440 pixels), which means full HD images for each eye and an impressive 110° field of view. With 704 pixels per inch (PPI), a refresh rate of 120Hz, and panel response time less than 10ms to reduce motion sickness, games are crystal clear and realistic.

The smooth black shell of the Blubur S1 has a sleek, glossy finish. With an RRP of $499 the Blubur S1 is an affordable piece of kit for developers that is packed full of advanced, cutting-edge technology.

3Glasses’ partnership with Microsoft will bring the Windows 10 mixed reality experience to its Blubur S1 device in the first half of 2017.

3Wand Controller Suite - Two controllers and a camera make up the advanced 3Wand suite, which enables users to experience VR videos and images, as well as play VR games.

The Blubur S1 headset together with the 3Wand suite identifies the hand motion and position of the user with its 9-axis sensor. The controllers are detected because the camera captures infrared rays emitted from them. The camera takes infrared photos of the controllers 60 times per second to calculate their comparative position.

The embedded 2.4G Wi-Fi module allows the 3Glasses S1 suite to communicate the user’s hand motion and position with the computer for a seamless user-experience.
