2016 Audi R8 V10 plus (Above)
The only elements that are typical of the R8 V10 plus are the acceleration and top speed expected of a supercar (at sub-3 seconds and over 200mph, respectively). From there, this top-of-the-line V10 plus model, which sports more than 100 more horsepower than the LMS GT3-spec version, takes advantage of Audi innovation in every facet. Power can be transferred 100 percent to the front or rear end, depending on where grip is found, and the chassis is 40 percent stiffer. Inside, a customizable cockpit delivers the pertinent information depending on how the car is being driven. Taken as a package, the R8 V10 plus is a car that makes driving very fast much simpler for the average or skilled driver in an updated package that accentuates its already attractive lines.

Releasing today, the Top Gear Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 6 builds on the tradition of amazing Top Gear content in the Forza Motorsport franchise, bringing seven brand new cars exclusively to the game. As the BBC prepares the next season of the legendary television series debuting in May, we’re giving fans a taste of what to expect in the form of seven awesome new rides, all hand-picked by the editors at Top Gear.

Whether it’s a limited production car, the latest top-of-the-line series, or simply preposterous horsepower numbers, the cars of the Top Gear Car Pack all offer something special. In addition to the cars themselves, we’re also announcing a new series of Top Gear Rivals events where players will be able to challenge one another and Top Gear editors to see who knows these cars best. For the next three months, look for new Top Gear events each month in the Community Monthly channels of Rivals in Forza Motorsport 6. Stay tuned for the first event beginning next week.

The Top Gear Car Pack is available for $7 and the cars are also available for individual purchase.

2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat (Above)
If you have a family and hate tires, the Charger SRT Hellcat is the only American car that allows four-door entrance and egress, while destroying rubber like a food processor shreds cheese. With 707 supercharged Hemi horsepower instantly available, making mincemeat of nearly anything else on the road is part of the attraction. To go faster with this many doors, you have to spend three times as much. The folks at SRT deliver more than just straight-line speed. Cornering is intuitive, and the Hellcat’s massive Brembo brakes bring things to a rapid stop from its top speed of more than 200 mph. If power – massive, gut-wrenching, tire-destroying power – is what you seek, look no further. The Charger Hellcat is here.

2014 Ferrari FXX K (Above)
Although it is based on the LaFerrari, the folks from Maranello consider the FXX K to be its own model. The XX designation is more than a car, it’s a program that enables owners to race their cars at exclusive events with full factory support. The K is for the KERS system that contributes 187 additional electrical prancing horses to the total output of well over 1,000 hp. To keep the FXX K stable, it is capable of creating more than half a ton of downforce through its active-aero systems; the coolest of which are the winglets that are joined by a rear spoiler that raises on vertical stabilizers. Is it the ultimate Ferrari? If going five seconds faster than the LaFerrari at the Fiorino test track is a measure, well… what do you think?

2016 Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 (Above)
Look at it. The speed hump behind the driver’s head pays tribute to the legendary D-Type. Listen to it. The crackling, burbling rasp of the exhaust is the only thing that may encourage you to lift off the throttle. Otherwise this blown V8’s induction and roar is all one really needs. Fortunately, for the already sold out 250 models produced by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations unit, there is much more to appreciate. Project 7 is lighter with more grip than its predecessor. The near 100 pounds of weight loss over the F-Type R come from a fixed wing and a bikini top. Suspension changes and sticky rubber make the Project 7 an improved choice for track day enjoyment. So sure, look at it, listen to it; there’s plenty to enjoy. But most importantly drive it and find out exactly what this big cat is made of.

1990 Jaguar XJ-S (Above)
Perhaps one of the most familiar forms from Jaguar, the XJ-S was produced for more than 20 years, and it sold more than 115,000 models. While it replaces the irreverent XK-E or E-Type, it was a far cry from the earlier models’ form. The XJ-S was much larger and was still powered by a 12-cylinder engine that produced around 300hp. It is a luxury grand-tourer that can achieve 60 mph in under eight seconds and get all the way to 140 mph if given the chance on open roads or on the track. From 1977 on, Jaguar models utilized a GM Turbo-Hydramatic transmission, which made these cars great candidates for American V8 swaps and added reliability and ease of service to this already elegant package.

2015 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR (Above)
Exclusivity comes at a cost and, in the case of the Range Rover Sport SVR, it also comes with the most power ever offered in the British SUV. Running the same engine as the Jaguar F-Type R, the SVR boasts 550 horsepower available for use on or off road, and the Range Rover is of course very adept in any environment. In an era where most every major automaker is churning out super-SUVs, the SVR does so with the elegance that their discerning owners expect. Speed is coupled with ultimate comfort to go with several distinguishing marks that let the SVR speak for itself. Even though its form may not inspire thoughts of carving turns, the SVR will surprise you with its handling, whether you’re on your way to the golf course or a night out on the town.

2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn (Above)
Few cars say you have arrived quite as well as a Rolls-Royce and Forza fans have been exclusively making an entrance in Rolls rides since Forza Motorsport 5. In its third convertible model in 45 years, the Dawn lets the sun shine in and the wind mess the hair of its fortunate occupants. The Dawn shares the platform of the Wraith coupe, so it weighs in similarly at well over 5,000 pounds. From the twin-turbo W12-cylinder motor that pulls like a freight train, to the sumptuous leather and elegant wood trim, every ounce was well-considered. Weight aside, the Dawn will surprise you with its ability to hold a line through a corner and achieve its top speed of over 150 mph. Don’t expect the roar of a rumbling exhaust or wheezing expulsions from blow-off valves though. This is a ride that is so quiet and smooth that you will have to watch the landscape go by to even know you are moving.
