Just Flight's Solo Adventure game launched as company goes indi - PC

Formed back in 1997 to serve the needs of simmers, Just Flight was brought into the Mastertronic Group in 2005. But today sees it becoming a fully independent company again.

The experienced Just Flight and Just Trains teams, headed up by flight sim veterans Alex Ford and Dermot Stapleton, are now airborne (and on track) as Just Flight Ltd once again.

Alex said: “Becoming part of a bigger group after eight years was the right thing to do in 2005 and now, ten years later, regaining our independence is also the right move. Critically acclaimed releases like the Tornado and Canberra have shown that our flight development team has the skill to compete at the cutting edge of simulation development. Alongside our success in the virtual skies, Just Trains’ locomotives and routes are rightly acknowledged as best in class. Going it alone with significant backing from a private investor that believes in our potential will provide a fantastic opportunity for both teams to shine. We are ready for the challenge and we are looking forward to working more closely with the huge army of dedicated fans and loyal partners who have supported us so far.”

“The last two years have been really hard for us all, given that the larger business we were part of was facing up to a transitioning games market. We have always believed in building the highest quality simulations and will now focus 100% on that and that only. We want to thank all of our loyal partners and customers for supporting us in the past and we look forward to continuing to work and serve them both with our standards set high and true”
