Mind Candy to close 'World of Warriors' Brighton Studio (Candy Labs)

Mind Candy have struggle to repeat the success of their flagship Moshi Monsters game. The number of staff at the company has halved since a peak of 200 in 2012.


The Brighton studio developed the World of Warriors iOS and Android game. Where you journey across the Wildlands and amass an army of history’s greatest warriors, from Romans and Vikings to Knights and Samurai. Battle the mighty Skull Army and defeat evil King Boneshaker and his menacing bosses in this epic combat and adventure strategy game!

World of Warriors has been downloaded over 5.5 million times and boasts $6 million in revenue.

Mind Candy want to bring all staff under the same London headquarters roof.

In October Mind Candy had a run in with the Advertising Standards Agency over  'Marketing to minors' issue for their Moshi Monsters game.

The ruling states: "presented children with direct exhortations to purchase membership subscriptions in breach of the CAP [Committees of Advertising Practice] Code."
