More information on Iceberg’s 2014 lineup - Endless Legend - StarDrive 2 - Starpoint Gemini 2 - Star Lords and Vector Thrust

Veteran publisher Iceberg Interactive is celebrating its week-long demonstration at the Game Developers Conference (GDC 2014) with a hefty package of assets to illustrate the rich and diverse lineup of its 2014 games. Iceberg Interactive showed Amplitude Studios’ massive 4X title Endless Legend, Zero Sum Games’ newly announced turn-based strategy sequel StarDrive 2, Little Green Men Games’ fan-favorite Space Sim Starpoint Gemini 2, the 4X strategy game Star Lords (currently in Steam Early Access) and the cel-shaded combat flight game Vector Thrust.

Endless Legend (PC): Developed by Amplitude studios, Endless Legend is a turn-based 4X fantasy strategy game that takes place on the land of Auriga, a once-beautiful planet destroyed in a massive cataclysm. Featuring fast-paced battle systems, eight factions, eight possible win scenarios, warring factions, amazing 3D visuals, and randomizing events that add a creative approach to the 4X genre, Endless Legend is slated to come to Steam in summer 2014.

StarDrive 2 (PC, Mac, Linux): In Zero Sum Games’ sequel to the popular original PC 4x real-time strategy title StarDrive (2013), players can build a space empire and command huge fleets turn-by-turn in an immersive, living galaxy filled with nine alien races, pirate factions, galactic lore and mystery. Fans of the 4X genre can research hundreds of technologies, including technologies unique to their race, and build ships in the custom ship design mode before taking them into real-time battles packed with stunning visuals and sound effects. Players can exploit planets, navigate asteroid belts, and overcome deep space dangers while handling interspecies relations to gain the upper hand. They will conduct diplomacy and espionage, make alien friends that will deliver thriving trade treaties – or enemies that will seek to exterminate them at all costs.

Starpoint Gemini 2 (PC): Developed by independent Croatian studio Little Green Men Games, Starpoint Gemini 2 hit Beta on Steam’s Early Access program at GDC, having debuted it in September 2013 and creating a lot of buzz since. Starpoint Gemini 2 is an open-world 3D space simulation game that provides powerful RPG mechanics with the frenzy of space combat. Taking place in Gemini, various factions are still fighting for power. Players have control of one ship at a time during the game with direct movement and combat controls as they explore new worlds, trade for greater power, and execute a high level of ship customization. Starpoint Gemini 2 features virtual reality implementation supported by Oculus Rift. Starpoint Gemini 2 is estimated to fully launch on Steam in May 2014.

Star Lords (PC): Developed by independent developer Arkavi Studios out of Portugal and currently in Alpha on Steam’s Early Access program, Star Lords is an epic-sized 4X space-strategy game designed for players to take the command of one race to join the struggle for supremacy in a complex, living, breathing galaxy. Star Lords is estimated to fully launch on Steam in May 2014.

Vector Thrust (PC): Developed by independent developer TimeSymmetry from Portugal, Vector Thrust is a fast-paced, cel-shaded arcade flight game with simulation elements and includes an uncanny 200+ pilotable aircaft. Vector Thrust provides players with a variety of game modes to choose from (including multiplayer) with quick, action-oriented instant play, featuring a deep and immersive story-based campaign, appealing to both players wanting to get straight to the sky and those who want to experience something deeper. Vector Thrust is slated for a debut on Steam spring 2014.
