Free - Buddy Rush Video Game Wins Cross-platform Games Category

Sollmo announce that its free-to-play RPG Buddy Rush has won top honors at the Unity Awards 2011 in the Cross-Platform category, taking place during the fifth annual Unite conference.

The title received recognition for its accomplishments in creating a true cross-platform role-playing game, with a centralized account of characters, friends, statistics and items across the Facebook, iOS and Android platforms and featuring beautiful 3D-rendered graphics developed on the Unity 3 engine.

Unity Technologies began the annual Unity Awards to honor the developers creating the best video games and interactive 3D applications using the Unity development platform. The Unity Awards features a carefully selected group of the best and brightest professional and amateur talent within the video game industry, covering games developed across multiple platforms ranging from iOS and Facebook to the PlayStation3 and PC.

Buddy Rush is a single-player, free-to-play RPG featuring social elements which allow players to take their Facebook Friends’ characters adventuring along with their own custom character as computer-controlled allies. Players and their party of friends will go adventuring on Missions, battling cute Oblins and other monsters, gathering loot, gaining experience points and leveling up while progressing through the game’s chapters.

To play Buddy Rush, visit Facebook, download the game to your Android v2.2+ device from the Android Market, or download to your iOS device from the iTunes App Store.
