Winter Wolves, developers of several award-winning dating sims and roleplay games, has announced the release of Vera Blanc: Full Moon, the first installment in the Vera Blanc game series.

Take on the role of Vera Blanc, a young and beautiful woman with an extraordinary power: the ability to read other people's minds! Daughter of Emmanuel Blanc, one of the richest people on Earth, she left her life of luxury to use her powers to work alongside paranormal detective Brandon Mackey.

In this first episode, our heroine travels to a mysterious town in Germany deep in the Black Forest. A serial killer is on the loose, and all leads point to a werewolf as the culprit!

“Vera Blanc is not the average blonde stereotype you find in most games or movies. She isn't the damsel in distress or the infallible femme fatale. Although she has the ability to read minds, she's still vulnerable like any other human. In this first installment, she'll face off against a werewolf. Even with a supernatural foe, you'll need cunning and common sense to find out the werewolf's true identity and how to deal with the beast” - said Celso Riva, game designer/programmer of the game.

The game plays like an adventure game or visual novel, but you'll have to make frequent choices and play several minigames that will influence the course of the story. The minigames range from the classic "spot the difference," to the more unique challenges like guessing a phrase in order to read someone's mind.

The game is available for PC, Mac and linux: the free demo is available for everyone at http://www.winterwolves.com
Registration is only US$19.99, and may be handled online from the company's web site.
