An error has appeared on many PS3 consoles preventing some video games from being played.
Reports have surfaced on some PS3 forums, with the most common error being 8001050F. This stops users signing into their PlayStation network account. This may stop you playing games offline as well as online!
It appears the problem effects pre PS3 slim consoles.
Sony are aware of the issue and are investigating - some of the games effected included Heavy Rain, Tekken 6 and Darksiders.
