After Microsofts action to ban Xbox user who modded their consoles dozens are appearing for sale on eBay and Craigslist.The consoles are listed with various descriptions including 'working offline' or 'banned'. They can be picked up for as little as £50 that's £100 off the new price!
In November Microsoft started banning hundreds of accounts after Xbox 360 had been identified as playing pirate games from Xbox LIVE. Banned consoles can no longer play online but can be used offline as stand alone games machines.
Up to 1 million users are reported to have been banned - 20 million Xbox LIVE players are believed to be online.
